Debriefing Session for Fourth Year Students at the Faculty of Pharmacy for the Academic Year 2020/2021

Fourth year Pharmacy students participated in a debriefing session for the fifth week within the fifteenth educational block entitled Neurological & Psychological Disorders. This session was held on Wednesday 11th of November as part of the 2020/2021 academic year, and the week’s topic was on Parkinson's Disease. It is worth noting that the Faculty of Pharmacy is the first and only Faculty in Libya whose students’ study within the PharmD program, which is an accredited program that grants a Bachelor's degree to pharmacists who are able to provide pharmaceutical care to the patient. The Faculty of Pharmacy at the Libyan International Medical University adopts modern curricula and teaching methods and student-centered learning strategies within an interactive education system where teaching takes place at the Faculty from the first year until graduation over a period of five years. Teaching takes place using problem-based learning, team-based learning and research-based learning strategies.
