dc.description.abstract | Urine output is frequently employed as a measure of acute kidney damage, but it may also be used to guide fluid resuscitation. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference in urine production between adult males and females after taking Lasix. Each volunteer got a single dose intravenous infusion of furosemide in a dosage of 40 mg during lab stay, and a time of not less than 6 hours of urinary monitoring after treatment to determine and record the volume of urine output every hour. These statistics show the volume of urine produced after receiving furosemide and whether or not gender has a role in this study. | en_US |
