<title>Effect of the face mask on oxygen saturation</title>
<link>http://dr.limu.edu.ly/handle/123456789/3998</link>
<description>Effect of the face mask on oxygen saturation
bouzied, Idris
We all wish to avoid becoming infected by some infections, &#13;
particularly viruses, and the face masks have become &#13;
indispensable in providing such protection.&#13;
 A face mask is a product that covers the nose and mouth of the &#13;
wearer.&#13;
 There are various types of face masks available, surgical, fabric &#13;
and respirators (also known as filtering face piece respirators –&#13;
FFP) which is available at different performance levels such as &#13;
FFP2, FFP3 masks, but widespread use of face masks is &#13;
limited, owing to concerns about inadequate gas exchange and &#13;
they are unconfutable.1,2 &#13;
 The Aim of this study is to know the effect of face masks on &#13;
healthy individuals and in connective tissue disorder associated &#13;
with interstitial lung diseases patients.

<title>Estimation of Neutralizing Antibodies among PizerBioNTech (BNT162b2) Vaccine Recipients in Benghazi, Libya</title>

<description>Estimation of Neutralizing Antibodies among PizerBioNTech (BNT162b2) Vaccine Recipients in Benghazi, Libya
Fatima Alzhra, Alsanoosi
Natural infection and vaccination are the two ways in which&#13;
immunity to SARS-CoV-2 can be acquired.&#13;
Regarding adaptive immunity to SARS-CoV-2, both T cells,&#13;
and B cell producing neutralizing antibodies (nAbs)&#13;
contribute some degree of clinical protection.&#13;
The important role of neutralizing antibodies in protection&#13;
of SARS-CoV-2 has been demonstrated by the results of&#13;
passive transfer of nAbs to non-RBD epitopes on the spike&#13;
(S) protein that was able to prevent severe SARS-CoV-2&#13;
infection in animal models.&#13;
Regeneron has reported similar data in humans (passive&#13;
vaccination).&#13;
Convalescent plasma transformation has also shown an&#13;
ability to dramatically improve clinical symptoms.&#13;
Pizer/BioNTech (BNT162b2), is a lipid nanoparticle formulated nucleoside-modified mRNA that encodes the&#13;
viral spike glycoprotein of SARS-CoV-2.

<title>Genetics Of Parkinson’s Disease</title>
<link>http://dr.limu.edu.ly/handle/123456789/3994</link>
<description>Genetics Of Parkinson’s Disease
Gwazi, Amira
Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurological disease &#13;
caused by loss of activity of dopaminergic neurons &#13;
in substantia nigra and is characterized by presence &#13;
of lewy bodies in midbrain, Symptoms exhibited as &#13;
rest tremors, rigidity, bradykinesia, and posture &#13;
instability. The non motor symptoms include &#13;
constipation and REM sleep disorder (1,2)&#13;
.&#13;
Age is the biggest risk factor, and usually older &#13;
adults are affected, It is a multifactorial disease with &#13;
many environmental factors such as head injury &#13;
well water consumption, and pesticide exposure and &#13;
genetic mutations. The most important genes will be &#13;
discussed in the following sections
